Time to Oom on live for my hunter is in the order of 100-110 secs. With access to mana pots every 2 mins, and the live Aspect of the Viper I considered it a fair deal. ie It needed management and optimisation, but it could be done without concern for the most part.

Time to oom can be marginally improved with Invigoration. Each point is worth an additional 7 or 8 seconds AND that assumes you have put the 3 points into Cobra Strikes to get the maximum benefit, however, this has some problems as well.

As a comparison, I specced both Marksman and Survival to check time to oom for each of the specs. MM was 98 Seconds spamming Steady Shot and Arcane. Survival was 90 Secs. I cannot comment on whether it was the optimum rotations, as I’ve never run with MM or Survival before. However, it was obvious the MM has much better mana saving talents available.
